Precedence studies from the Chicago Poetry Foundation lead the project to be integrated with interior and exterior spaces. The shell skin of the building acts as an invitation to the building leading people into a centralized space.
It started with an example of a starfish. In how the heart and all life is supported in the middle and then it extends outward in all directions. Playing with push and pull elements the building functionality starts in the middle and program leads you outwards to your desired destination.
